Abstract

Abstract - Research Questionnaire is the main instrument in collecting data on a quantitative approach. A good research questionnaire (valid and reliable) is crucial to avoid bias towards research conclusions. Community Service regarding the creation of a research questionnaire aims; (a) provide training to students on how to operationalize research variables; (b) provide training to students on how to compose questions based on the results of the operationalization of research variables; (c) provide training to students to determine the validity and reliability of research instruments. The methods used are discourse, discussions, and simulations about making questionnaires. Based on the results of the activity evaluation, it was found that 71% of participants were able to understand and make questionnaires well, while the remaining 29% of trainees still had difficulty implementing the training material. The conclusion of the results of this community service is that training in making questionnaires for students is very useful and becomes the basic capital for students in the process of completing their final assignment (thesis) so that students have other choices in using research methods in the framework of completing the final assignment.

Abstrak - Kuesioner Penelitian merupakan instrument utama dalam melakukan pengumpulan data pada pendekatan kuantitatif. Kuesioner penelitian yang baik (valid dan reliabel) sangat menentukan untuk menghindarkan bias terhadap kesimpulan penelitian. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat tentang pembuatan kuesioner penelitian bertujuan (a) memberikan pelatihan  kepada mahasiswa tentang cara  mengoperasionalisasikan variabel penelitian; (b) memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa tentang cara menyusun pertanyaan berdasarkan hasil operasionalisasi variabel penelitian (c) memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa menetapkan validitas dan realibilitas instrumen penelitian. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi tentang pembuatan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan diketahui bahwa terdapat 71 % peserta mampu memahami dan membuat kuesioner dengan baik, sedangkan sisanya 29% peserta pelatihan masih kesulitan menerapkan materi pelatihan. Kesimpulan hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan pembuatan kuesioner bagi mahasiswa sangat bermanfaat dan menjadi modal dasar bagi mahasiswa dalam proses menyelesaikan tugas akhir (skripsi) sehingga mahasiswa memiliki pilihan lain dalam  penggunaan metode penelitian dalam rangka penyelesaian tugas akhir.
